Yes, it’s that simple. Wear a kilt when you come skiing on Jan. 21 and we’ll give you a free lift ticket for the day. We have lots of fun activities for kids, Address to the Haggis, live music, kilted ski race and more. It’s a fun day! Last year we had over 300 kilted skiers. We want even more this year!

After an early start to the season, we’re off and running!
Snowmaking continues when temperatures permit. We made snow Monday night and will fire up again Saturday night on Chickadee, Beaver, Headwall, Terrain Park and the Big Air Site.
It looks like snow coming this weekend – Friday night into Saturday. Things will be shaping up for a great wknd of skiing and riding.
Snow School programs start this weekend, Jan. 7&8. We extended the registration date to Thursday, Jan. 5. Most programs still have room, so sign up quick!
Coming up this weekend… our first Wing Night with Nowhere Road. These guys fill the dance floor. So come get your wings and your dance on!  Saturday Après Ski it’s Tim Bowers & Friends.
We love Thursday Night Steak Night so much, we’re extending it to Saturday Night. That’s right! Enjoy a BBQ steak, baked potato or fries and delicious homemade roll every Thursday and Saturday nights from 5-9pm. And on Wing Nights, we’re now serving wings by the pound in a basket. This will make it faster, less of a line up!
We’re offering Never Ever Days this winter to get more beginners into skiing and snowboarding. And on January 6th, our Never Ever Day will also be part of the World’s Largest Lesson, where over 100 ski areas across North America will be trying to set a new world record! Easter Weekend 2016NEW DATE for Aquaneige – Sunday, March 27
Easter Weekend is jam packed with events! Due to the weather forecast, we’ve moved the fireworks to Saturday, March 26. We’ll be firing off an amazing display of fireworks on the Bunny Hill. Bonfire at 8pm and fireworks at 9pm. Saturday is Retro Day! Wear your wildest, brightest neons from the back of the closet. We start the day with Retro Champagne & OJ breakfast. We’re cleaning out the freezer, so join us for a free breaky. . King & Queen Retro are crowned at 3pm up in Ducky’s. Saturday night is the party of the season – Ender Bender with DJ Harv. This year’s theme is “Jungle Fever”.  On Sunday, the crowd pleasing Aqauneige is at 1pm. Maximum of 75 participants. Registration opens at 9am at the main ticket counter. Our bunnies are hiding eggs around the mountain for the annual Easter Egg hunt. Monday, March 28 is the final day of the season. Make sure you come out and get in some turns.  Spring hours & pricing run March 23-28. $30 lift tickets and $20 rentals. Hours: 9am-5pm.

Happy Nova Scotia March Break! We’re open extended hours Monday and Tuesday until 9pm, with full price day lift tickets and 2 for 1 night lift tickets. All other weekly specials are in effect. We have daily activities and crafts for kids in the Port Greville Room from 12-2pm. We also offer one day camps – sign up for one, three or five. Whatever suits your schedule.  Looking ahead to the weekend, we have the Adrenalin Divas Park Queen event on Saturday. The WSRC will hold its final Club race of the season. Saturday Apres Ski we’ll have Jon Cyr performing live in Ducky’s. See you here!

March 12-13 Weekend

Still lots of snow left on these hills! Mother Nature gave us a fresh coating of snow on Friday. We’ll be open on 14 trails and two terrain parks this weekend. Lots of events going on. Friday is the Get Up There fundraiser. Participants snowshoe or hike up and ski back down. Saturday we’re hosting Snowboard Nova Scotia Slopestyle provincials. Our annual Maple Syrup Festival runs Saturday & Sunday. We’ll have BBQ’s and pancakes, plus maple sugar on snow. Aerobics First will be here Saturday with Rossingol & Volkl demo. Join us Saturday at the Take It Outside tent. We’ll be playing music and having some fun. On Sunday, East Coast Lifestyle is here for the finals of their Rail Jam series. It’s the final weekend for seasonal snow school programs. In Ducky’s, we have the Mike Bochoff Band Friday night Wing Night and The Island Boys are back for Saturday après ski.  Saturday night its the Snow Dance Party with Terry Edmunds Band. No cover, but a donation to the food bank is gladly accepted. Looking ahead to March Break – we’re open extended hours on Monday & Tuesday 9-9 with regular day lift ticket pricing and 2 for 1 night tickets. All other weekly specials are in place. There is limited space left in March Break camps. Registration closes on Friday. We’ll see you here!
