Rolland Brunner race weekend

After Wednesday night’s downpour, the temps dropped and the trails are grooming up really nicely for Friday. We’re loving this return to more ‘normal’ winter temperatures. You will be impressed with the conditions! The Rolland Brunner alpine ski races run Friday-Sunday. About 150 athletes from the Maritime provinces will be here competing in the region’s top race. Please note: on Friday only, Rosebowl & Rosebowl Terrain Park will be closed for the race. There will still be lots of open terrain: Beaver, Chickadee, Sissy, Sugar Shack, Black Fly, Robins, Feffie and Gooey. Rosebowl will re-open for night skiing once the race is over.

More trails to open

We’re lovin’ this colder weather and snow! Helter Skelter gets pushed out Thursday night to be open for skiing and riding on Friday. The Sugar Shack is almost ready to go. It will be open during the day Saturday. We’re currently making snow on Black Fly, Feffie, Robins, Lower Chickadee, Rosebowl Terrain Park and top of Beaver. Wednesday’s snow provided a nice base, but we still need more snow to open trails without the manmade stuff. Hopefully Saturday’s storm will drop another 20+cm on us. Fingers crossed!
