Children Ski Programs

Weekly Snow School Programs 2011 - 2012

Penguins & Snow Cats
Ages 5-11
Sat. or Sun: 9:30am-11:30am and/or 12:30pm-2:30pm
For beginner to experienced skiers, our children's programs follow the CSIA's STEP program. Children will be assessed and divided into groups based on skill level. The programs focus on learning skills in a fun environment with an emphasis on safety.

Designed for intermediate to expert skiers.  Weekly lessons are tailored for optimal development in a group or individual format.  Students will be introduced to all aspects of the mountain including freestyle, gates, ski cross and glades

RBC Jumps and Bumps
Ages 8-12
Sat. or Sun: 9:30am-11:30am
An entry level freestyle ski program for children focusing on fun, safety and skill development. Kids love to play on skis, whether its fast, slow, forwards, backwards, over moguls, in the terrain park - they are naturally freeskiers. This program teaches children to do these things safely, while developing good basic skiing skills. Participants must be a member of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association at an addiitonal cost of $30. Please register on the CFSA website at

SNOWBOARD PROGRAM

Wentworth Riders
Ages 8+
Sat. or Sun. 9:30am-11:30am and/or 12:30pm-2:30pm
Wentworth Riders is designed to encourage skill development in a fun setting for beginner to intermediate riders. Riders will be placed in a group appropriate to their skill level.
