After today’s announcement about new travel restrictions for those living in the HRM and neighbouring municipalities which comes into effect Feb. 27 at 8:00am, here is our plan moving forward – first and foremost, Ski Wentworth will remain open for skiing and riding for those living in unaffected regions of the province. We urge everyone in the affected areas to follow public health guidelines and avoid all non-essential travel. As Dr. Strang made clear today in his press conference, skiing is a non-essential activity. Ski Wentworth plans to extend the season into April, conditions permitting. Let’s all do our part, stay safe & keep skiing. ![]()
Pre-purchased lift tickets & rentals - for those in the affected travel areas who have purchased online from February 27 through to March 26, please email us with your first and last name, phone number as well as the OID # that is located directly under your QR Code if you would like a refund. skiadmin@skiwentworth.ca or patty@skiwentworth.ca. ![]()
Seasonal Programs - will continue for those participants living in the unaffected regions. With a planned extended season, we are hopeful to make up the remaining three weekends of programs for those living in affected areas. ![]()
Learn to Ski/Board, private lessons & March Break Camps – for those living in the affected areas, please email Kim Tattrie at snowschool@skiwentworth.ca for a refund.![]()
Season passes – where we plan to extend the season, we’re not considering requests for pro rated credits until we are officially closed. ![]()
This was not the news any of us were hoping for today. However, we must all work together and follow public health guidelines so we can all ski and ride together this season.
